Use News items (Posts in WordPress parlance) for news and information that is timely and tied to a particular event or point in time. Over time this will become a log / diary of your Fair’s activities. The posts can be integrated into your home page in myriad of ways. They don’t get deleted, they are a ‘stack’ of information that as new ones are added, the older ones get pushed down to form an archive. It is effectively a Blog / Weblog but can be called whatever you like.
